Here today - but gone tomorrow

Hmmm . . .

Utah - 33 degrees, two inches of snow in my backyard today. Very un-spring like . . .

I was just longing for something warm!

(barn - Alpine Utah)

Looks about like this! Brrrr!

We're so excited - we're off to visit Dustin & Cami, Karianne & Greg. On April 1st I received an email from Dustin saying "pack your summer clothes it's 90 degrees here!"

Just as I was imagining all my summer accessories, flip flops, swimming suits, sun screen and a supply of basking in the sun magazines . . . it dawned on me . . .

"Wait a minute!"
"This is not an April Fools joke is it?"

Thank fully not - it's really 90 degrees in Raleigh North Carolina.

Sunshine here we come!

(Spring - Duke Gardens, Raleigh NC)

But I did get some spring flowers in pots on my front porch today. I'm hoping they will be lovely when I get home and not frozen! It can't snow forever here right! ??

I'm visiting my daughter in Boston right now and it's 70 degrees here. Crazy how Utah weather is so unpredictable right now.

I'm surprised that it's 90 degrees there, but what a great deal for you. I'll bet you can't wait to bask in some spring sun!

The barn photo is beautiful. I was down in Raleigh just two days ago. (I live about 3 hrs away.) We are enjoying a very warm spring here in Virginia too! Have fun.

Hi Kristin,

I am trying to embrace the cold after ten days spent in sunny and warm Florida!

Love the photo.

I think that Utah's desert dust has blown into Aspen today! The sky is red and the raindrops are too.

Your snowy coldness is likely headed right my way, over Pikes Peak and into my back yard.

So glad your son wasn't pulling an April Fool's Day joke. That would have been the ultimate cruelness.

Enjoy Raleigh!

What is so funny, is that my cousin who lives in/near Raleigh, texted me a picture of them at the beach. Just to rub it in!

Right! We got snow last week here too, during Spring Break. Rats.
We had spring weather in February and Winter weather in late Mar/April. Whats going on?

The barn makes me nostalgic for all the old barns that were on my family's farm when I was little!

Omg! Snow in April is no fun at all. Hopefully it starts to warm up soon :)

I love the barn photo. I have a thing for barns. I wish I had one in my backyard.
