My Challenge . . .

To simplify Christmas this year . . .

I'm really going to do it.

I am.

We haven't given gifts in many years. I look at my healthy, beautiful children trying so hard to make it in the world, with school and jobs. I see their amazing spouses, and their sweet children that know no different about gifts. I see a soldier saying good bye again this week to my daughter - void of any Christmas cheer. I see the economy eating us alive - and survival is a basic need. I look at all of the year round blessings we have, not monetary but spiritual and deep. And it's then that you realize - your cup is overflowing... and that is Christmas... simple. Just wanted to tell you that I love you dearly. You are a very important part of my life, and my hearts memories. xoxoxo nic

Good luck, my friend! I am hoping my early shopping will allow me to do the same. So far, so good.

Let's do it!!

Kristin, What a pleasant surprise to see a face I knew I had seen before up there at my Aunt Vera's ward. It was very sweet of you to come chat with me and my family at the Frazier's home.
I love your idea on simplifying. Now if I only knew how!!

We have most def simplified this year, and I am loving it!

Love the nativity scene pics. I keep finding our baby Jesus in odd places after my granddaughter leaves

What a beautiful nativity! I wish you the most success in your simplifying. I am putting an over the top emphasis on the Savior this year. Hoping it will make it even more special. And Merry Christmas to you!
