This week we're reviewing Elder Richard G. Scotts talk entitled:
I'm taking his words to heart and beginning to memorize! Something I haven't done for ages and ages. I didn't really know where to start, but thought I'd start with the exact scriptures he shared in his address. They were some of my favorites . . .
“To memorize a scripture is to forge a new friendship,” he said. “It is like discovering a new individual who can help in time of need, give inspiration and comfort and be a source of motivation for needed change.”
“The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
“For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
“Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
“He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
“He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation”
Loved hearing these words roll from the tongue of Elder
Richard G. Scott

So did I.
=)
For some reason, this particular conference resonated with me more than ever before in my life. Maybe because I am looking for some specific answers, but at any rate - it was WONDERFUL!
I love reading this. I love getting to hear about this all over again. Love it. Thank you for sharing.
