Oh, my!! I have never texted while driving--by I do call me occasionally. I think I will stop doing that as well. Thanks for the sober reminder.
Strangely, in California we are not allowed to talk on cell phones, but they let people text. How crazy is that? Texting is much more attention-diverting because you have to look down at the cell phone.

Heartbreaking. I never text. Driving or not. Drives me bonkers. But even though I am not texting that does not mean someone else on the road isn't...
I have totally repented. Scary stuff and it hits home
Here in Ontario, Canada there's a cellphone ban (also includes hand held devices GPS, IPods etc.) while driving.
Hope they will make changes soon, and keep drivers and pedestrians safe.
Why do people do that??
S few years ago the rage was the Bluetooth headset and now they are NOT fashionable?? They are safer in the car.
If people are going to text while driving, I think they might as well let them drink and drive. Seriously, it has the same risk.
I think they should outlaw phones while driving unless you are on a wireless headset.

yikes~! i can see how Texting can be dangerous while driving... it's dangerous enough to WALK while TEXTING!
Our state is about to pass a no cell/texting while driving law. It's about time!
