It's What's for Dinner!

Hmmmm . . . it smells heavenly tonight,

so I thought I'd share -

Easy Peasey Chicken Pot Pie

is what's for dinner!

It's one of our favorite meals . . . and this recipe is so easy!

Easy Peasey Chicken Pot Pie (one 10 inch deep dish pie)

1-Frozen deep dish pie crust (two crusts)
1 16oz package frozen mixed vegies (your choice)
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 C. milk
2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 t. celery seed
2 C. chopped cooked chicken (I get a roasted chicken from Costco and then it is even EASIER!)

Pour vegies into bottom of frozen pie crust. Pile chicken on top of vegies.  Whisk together the soup and milk and seasonings.  Pour over the filling making sure it stays inside the pie shell. Top with 2nd frozen pie crust. (If you let it sit out for about 30 minutes upside down, it usually comes right out of the pie pan)  Cut a few slits into the top pie crust.  Bake at 425 degrees for 30-35 minutes until nicely browned and filling is bubbly.  If it browns too quickly you can cover lightly with foil.

Tastes like you've been slaving all day :)
