V. I. P - Very Important People . . .

I want to dedicate an entire page to three VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE.

Did anyone besides me love that cute little song that goes something like this -

I'm a VIP in my family;I'm a VIP you see
I'm a VIP in my family and that's a pretty good thing to be
A Very Important Person, A Very Important Person, A Very Important Person
That's ME!

Once upon a time I used to sing that everyday with my little ones, now big.
They loved it!
I know that the three people I'm refering too are also
very important people in the lives of my kids.

So important in fact - that they married them!

Yes, I'm referring to the three wonderful new family members that have joined our family over the last little while. No one could have told me how much I would come to love and appreciate each one of the spouses of my three married children. I consider us so blessed to have received three such miracles to bless our family. How else can you explain matching up just the right person for each childs unique personality and character - not once, but three different times.

It's been amazing to me to see the way they work together in their marriages, to accomplish common goals, supporting each other through difficult times, and nurturing and caring for each other in a way I didn't imagine possible.

Yes Cami, Greg and Sara . . .

I'm talking about you.

Love you all tons!

Obviously, I'm not at the point in my life in which Hayden is getting married; however, when he does I hope I have a great relationship with his significant other.

Because that is a great thing: to love your children's spouses.

Yay for you!

That is SO AWESOME. I love my daughter-in-law. I imagine the day I will have SIX daughters-in-law and a son-in-law. What a time THAT will be!

This is so sweet - I had no idea I would adore my in-laws so much, and it's good to remember!

Peryl (From MBC - thanks for setting up the group!)

What beautiful words. I hope to one day be able to say the same things. And you should win MIL of the Year award... seriously :)

Oh, that is so sweet! What a beautiful tribute to your children in law! It is so refreshing to see people who actually like let alone love, their in-laws. I am so glad you find them so wonderful.

That is so sweet! I am sure they all love being in your family as well. I love my two in-laws and am looking forward to adding a few more of the next couple years. (But my youngest has to wait for a lot more years before I will be ready to have her get married! :-)

What a sweet tribute! I am years away from having married children, but hope to be a loving mother-in-law like you when I am one.

I'm coming in to this time of my life, and I find this post unbelievably encouraging. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be the MIL that eventually drives one DIL to wait for in her garage and take a weed wacker to her head.

It's quite worrisome, really.

(I'm laughing at DeNae)

As parents we hope our kids will choose well and find the spouse that is truly meant for them, IF they have to get married, which I'm not letting my boys do. Of course I'll have a problem with getting grandkids then.
