Home for the Holidays 2009

I love being home for the holidays.

I love being in my home and in the homes of others during the holidays. I remember growing up in the home my mother always decorated so beautifully for Christmas. So many precious things gathered lovingly from year to year and displayed with care throughout the season.

It's fun to visit the homes of others and see some of their precious treasures beautifully displayed. Each home has different Christmas collections.

Well - welcome to OUR home for the holidays 2009.

"For unto us a Child is born,
unto us a Son is given,
and the government shall be upon His shoulder'
and his name shall be called
Wonderful,
Counselor,
the Mighty God,
the Everlasting Father,
the Prince of Peace.
(Isaiah 9:6)

From our home to yours - Happy Holidays!

Christmas at your house looks beautiful. I love traditional decorations. It is weird when people get too creative and do a purple tree or something.

Wow!! For having to decorate alone, you really out did yourself!! The decorations are beautiful. And I love how you have the collage of pictures. How do you do that?

Kristin - Do you get the feeling that we could probably sit down and talk for hours if we had the chance to. So many life parallels! Who knows if my kids keep trooping up there to Utah I might just have to have a place there. ;)
