Mini - Makeover

In these days of the humongous "Extreme Makeover" reality shows . . . I'm happy when I can come up with a simple change that makes my life and my home just a little bit better, and a little bit easier to keep under control.

This is an extremely MINI-MAKEOVER - but I love it. It just looks soooo much better don't you think?

I saw this idea in the home of a friend - thank you Jolene for your inspiration. Much you do is an inspiration to me actually, but this was a simple one!

We went from this -

to this -

in five minutes or less.

Not bad huh?

It works for me!

That's really cute! I don't seem to have any motivation to make my laundry room cute, it's just too small *L*

Oh, that does look really nice. Too bad I use liquid detergent...

It's amazing how something small like making a laundry room look nice can lift up your whole day.

I like the results of your makeover.

That looks nice, much prettier than the soap boxes. I think I will have to try that. I also use liquid, but I suppose that would still work as long as you wash it out from time to time.

I live for mini-makeovers! I love to go back and look at each one over and over ...

Also, I love to improve the laundry room (and boy, does mine need it.) After all, look how much time I spend in there!

Amazing how it changes the feel of the room, isn't it? I love it. And makes me think that I should get rid of the frozen yogurt tub I'm currently using for my homemade laundry powder and put it in a cracker jar instead.

My Mom's been doing that forever. I switched a few years ago also. I think it makes the laundry room look less cluttered and cute all at the same time.
